Here's hoping this was just an unfortunate accident and not some foul-play!
This morning, several cast and crew members on the set of Resident Evil 5 were injured after a platform shifted and the stage collapsed. Initially, the incident was ruled an accident, but the ministry has send an inspector to Cinespace’s Kipling Studio to look into things further.
William Lin, a ministry spokesperson, was quick to say that it is too early to speculate what caused the platform to shift, saying:
"We are conducting an investigation to (a) find out what happened and (b) ensure work place health and safety."
It's a sad thing that happened, but it will be worse if its found out that it could have been avoided.
